The Wiig Assessment of Basic ConceptsT (WABCT), by Elisabeth Wiig, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a one-of-a-kind, norm-referenced test from Super Duper® Publications. WABC evaluates a child's understanding and use of basic concepts.
The test groups 113 basic concepts into two sets: Level 1 (ages 2.6-5.11) and Level 2 (ages 5.0-7.11). Unlike other concept tests, the WABC assesses concept knowledge receptively and expressively across seven categories.
The WABC does not have an easel but presents concepts in a storybook format with concepts embedded in colorful pictures.
The complete kit includes 50 each of Level 1 and Level 2 forms, an examiner's manual, a clipboard-calculator, a Puppy bank with Doggie Dog tokens, 75 stickers and a tote.
