Port Chester Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre, in Port Chester, NY, has appointed Stephen Carey, MBA, MPA, as the new administrator.
Carey, who has 25 years of management experience, previously was the administrator of Elant at Wappingers Falls and has held executive positions with a number of community service organizations.
He has received a number of community service awards, including the New York City Council Dale/Hale Community Service Award, the New York State Governor's Initiative for Volunteer Excellence (GIVE) Award, the Department of Health and Human Services Federal Community Service Act Award, and the American Society for Public Administration Public Service Award.
"I am extremely pleased to join the Port Chester team," Carey stated. "I'm impressed with the level of dedication and commitment of the staff to our residents. This facility is known for providing outstanding patient care, and I'm looking forward to initiating some exciting clinical programs that will continue and expand our connection with our local communities."
The Port Chester Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre provides short-term rehabilitation, subacute care, wound care services and long-term care.
