Spot Survey
In our latest Spot Survey we ask readers if they are members of their state or local union.
Spot Survey Results: In our last poll, we asked readers about their familiarity with MySpace and Facebook.
Thirty-eight percent (211) of the 554 respondents said they had Facebook or MySpace pages.
Fifty-nine percent (327) said they did not have accounts on either site.
Three percent (16) of respondents said they were completely unfamiliar with either social networking site.

Submit a Clinicians in the Classroom Column!
Published every month, the Clinicians in the Classroom column allows speech-language pathologists and audiologists to share ideas, projects and programs that they have implemented in the classroom.
Submissions should be about 1200 words long.
Clinicians who are interested in contributing to the column should contact Acquisitions Editor

The column will appear both in print and online, and contributors will receive a $150 honorarium.

In response to reader request, ADVANCE will introduce a Web-exclusive column devoted to humor in the field of speech and hearing.
Speech-language pathologists and audiologists now will have a place on our Web site to share the lighter moments of their jobs with colleagues in the field.
Readers are invited to submit humorous anecdotes and observations to Web Editor Alyssa Banotai at abanotai@advanceweb.com.
Submissions may be edited for content or appropriateness.
The column will appear on our Web site in the coming weeks.
If your submission is accepted for publication on our site, you will receive a $25 honorarium.
