Where to Find Bats

View Comments (0)Print ArticleEmail Article

I work in a special school with children who are severely handicapped.  I was doing therapy with an eight year old boy with mild cerebral palsy answering WH- questions.  We were working on a Halloween activity and I asked, "What is this animal?" and pointed to a bat.

He answered, "A bat".

I asked "And where can we find bats?"

My student replied, "When the Yankees play."

The best part is that our entire speech room has Mets posters all over and are devoted Mets fans!
